Andy Payne's new album contains 16 really good original songs that are so diverse but are all wonderful songs of the heart (hence 'Heartstrings'). Andy uses three charming friends to accompany him in vocals and harmonies: Marilyn Williams, Beverley Lake and June Atkinson all add a sparkle and shine and Keith Kendall (my old chum from Sussex band 'Music Box') plays a mean lead guitar on several of the tracks. I have been working with Andy on all his songs since their inception and hopefully have added substantial production sounds which have augmented his original songs. Andy is delighted with the final result and I am sure that you will all thoroughly enjoy hearing this, his second, CD...and on a personal note I am really proud to have this as the fiftieth CD from my "Hat Records" Independent Recording Label which I started way back in 1998.
