Jack Stainer is a wonderful bloke! He has "Caring for People" written all over him. He spends his retirement years organising and looking after entertainment for the elderly in residential homes and more recently for the local Stroke Club here in Southwick, West Sussex. UK.
Jack has spent a lifetime entertaining professionally first as a Drummer / Vocalist and Comedian with The Bill Savil Show Band way back in the 50's and then with his wife Pat as a comedy cabaret duo playing in hundreds of clubs and shows here in the UK and Europe and travelling half way round the world working in six countries and covering 40,000 miles in Australia alone!
Jack has written scripts for Radio and TV, over a hundred parodies for other Artistes, a full length musical, several short stories, a multitude of songs and of course all material for his Cabaret Acts over the years.
Jack is the first to admit that his voice is now not what it was but the songs on this CD show his talent, wit and sparkle and canny observation of life from a young and old perspective so well that I know you will enjoy listening to it time and again.
