It was many years ago when I first attempted
to record some of my songs. The result was not at all pleasant.
It was thus with some trepidation that after so much time had elapsed,
I decided to try again. I phoned Tim, having come across his web-site
purely by chance, and arranged to meet and sort out dates to undergo
the torture of hearing myself wail and plunk. Tim was very easy
to talk to and said to me, "You're going to be a nightmare
to record"....so my mind was put at ease straightaway! Fortunately
the recording sessions were made very enjoyable, relatively painless
and conducted in a positive and purposeful atmosphere. I didn't
make as many mistakes as I'd feared, Tim was patient, supportive
and encouraging. When we had completed the tracks he said, "You
weren't the nightmare I had envisaged." We had fun, got the
work done and the result is one I'm extremely pleased with. I'd
certainly recommend Tim to anyone thinking of recording their music,
they'll be in good hands. Tim is a great person to record with.
I had never made a CD before, but I was immediately put at ease
by Tim's friendly manner, and from then on the whole process was
relaxed, a whole lot of fun and, of course, highly professional.
Tim brought the songs alive with his creative input and I am so
pleased with and proud of the result. I am also extremely grateful
for Tim's help with the design and photography for the finished

touch to your CD". The gentlemen of the Brighton Welsh Male Voice Choir had been singing for 25 years when they decided that the time was right to make their first CD to mark their anniversary. One of the choir members had come across Tim Kent when he made a CD for the Patcham Silver Band, and so Tim was asked to help the choir with its great recording venture. Marshalling 30 singers, a grand piano, a harp, a row
of microphones and a box of electronic tricks, Tim carried out the
